Isaac Matthew’s workspace is a masterclass in minimalism. Over the years, he has honed his setup, removing anything that doesn’t enhance his workflow. Even the Smiski figures on his desk serve a purpose, reminding him of his dear girlfriend and what truly matters.
A standout feature of Isaac’s setup is his impeccable cable management. Every cable is neatly tucked away in the management bar, keeping his desk clutter-free and creating a space that fosters focus and creativity.
At the core of his workspace are two essential tools: the Klipsch The Fives speakers and the Dell U3223QE monitor. The Klipsch speakers offer an immersive audio experience with their outstanding sound quality and deep bass, while the 32-inch Dell monitor provides a crystal-clear window into the content he creates. These tools are integral to Isaac’s creative process, making them indispensable to his work.
I find that being in nature and taking long walks helps immensely. Living near a nature park allows me to escape when I hit a creative block. It’s a way to drown out the external noise and refocus on what’s within.
It’s complicated, especially when your work is also your life—content creation. I’m always thinking about how to turn my experiences into content. The only way to maintain balance is to be intentional. I set boundaries, like deciding not to create content on certain trips or avoiding my computer and camera on weekends. Honestly, I haven’t fully succeeded in this yet, so don’t worry if you haven’t either.
Just. Start. Creating. I can’t stress this enough. I made the mistake of waiting for everything to be “just right” before putting out content. Looking back, I wish I had started earlier. The only way to grow is to get out there and start. Don’t wait for that expensive camera or gear—use your phone! Don’t wait until you have a certain number of followers. Stop waiting and just go for it. Do it scared.
